Where can I redeem by Shell Gift Card?
Shell Gift Cards and Shell eGift Cards can be redeemed at participating Shell locations throughout the United States, except territories. Valid locations include Shell gasoline stations, Shell convenience stores, and associated car washes.
Shell eGift Cards must be added to the Shell App for redemption. Click here to find a location near you and locations that accept mobile payment.
What can I redeem my Shell Gift Card for?
At participating locations, Shell Gift Cards and Shell eGift Cards can be used to purchase gasoline, auto supplies, food/snacks, a car wash, and other items at Shell locations nationwide.
How do I redeem my Shell Gift Card?
Shell Gift Cards can be redeemed at the pump by inserting card as payment method. Physical gift cards can also be used as payment within Shell convenience store and car wash. If your transaction exceeds the amount of your Shell Gift Card in-store, you are responsible for the remaining amount with another form of payment. At the pump, your transaction cannot exceed the value of the gift card amount.
Shell eGift Cards must first be added to the Shell App. Once added to the Shell App as a payment method, redeeming the digital card through the Shell App can take place at the pump or in-store. Click here to download the Shell App. For pay-at-the-pump redemption, follow the instructions on the Shell App.
* Please note for in-store purchases using your Shell eGift Card, if your purchase exceeds the available balance of the card, the transaction will be declined. Your Shell eGift Card payment cannot be combined with any other forms of payment.
Do I have to redeem the entire value of the Shell Gift Card at once?
No, Shell Gift Cards and Shell eGift Cards may be used multiple times until the entire value has been redeemed. Please note, payment may not be possible if balance is less than one dollar.
Will I receive cash back if I do not spend the entire value of my Shell Gift Card?
Shell Gift Cards and Shell eGift Cards are not redeemable for cash except when otherwise required by law.
What if the total transaction exceeds the value of my Shell Gift Card?
If your transaction exceeds the amount of your Shell Gift Card in-store, you are responsible for the remaining amount with another form of payment. At the pump, your transaction cannot exceed the value of the gift card amount.
If your transaction exceeds the amount of your Shell eGift Card in-store, your transaction will be declined. Your Shell eGift Card purchase must be equal to or less than the balance on the card. Your Shell eGift Card payment cannot be combined with any other forms of payment.
Can I redeem more than one Shell Gift Card in a single transaction?
No, at this time, only one Shell Gift Card can be redeemed in a single transaction.
Is my Shell Gift Card reloadable?
Shell Gift Cards can be reloaded if the front of the card says, “Refillable Gift Card.” Click here to reload and enter the full card number and PIN located on the back of the card.
Currently, Shell eGift Cards are not reloadable.

What denominations are available for Shell Gift Cards?
Refillable Shell Gift Cards can be purchased online and reloaded in denominations between $10 - $300. You can also purchase Shell Gift Cards in Shell retail locations in denominations of $25, $50, and $100. Click here to buy.

Can my Shell Gift Card be shipped internationally?
No, Shell Gift Cards and Shell eGift Cards cannot be purchased or shipped outside the United States. However, physical Shell Gift Cards can also be purchased in Canada.

How long will it take to receive my Shell Gift Card(s)?
Once your Shell Gift Card order is processed; delivery times are based on the destination and delivery service selected:
- USPS (7-10 business days)
- Federal Express Ground (3-5 business days)
- FedEx 2-Day (2 business days)
Shell eGift Cards are delivered to your recipient’s email, generally within 10 minutes or on a future date selected. On rare occasions, delivery could take longer if a manual review of the purchase is required.

Can I replace my Shell Gift Card if lost or stolen?
For security reasons, you should treat your card like cash and safeguard it at all times. Except in certain circumstances, the value on the card will not be replaced. Replacement fees may apply.

Shell Gift Cards are processed and shipped between 48-72 hours. Shipping is not available on holidays or weekends.

This eliminates the need to carry a physical gift card or cash when visiting a Shell location.
Can I reload funds onto a Shell eGift Card?

How do I upload my Shell Gift Card into the Shell App?
After purchasing your Shell eGift Card, save your confirmation email with your unique gift card code and pin. Upload this code into your Shell App under the payment methods menu tab along with other forms of payment.
Is there a limit to the number of Shell eGift Cards I can add to the Shell App?
Yes, you can have up to three Shell eGift Cards in your Shell App.
